I revisited the Mezzo mug with the design for manufacturing at the forefront of my mind. Slip casting involves filling plaster molds with slip, a liquid form of clay, allowing it to solidify over time. This process forms a layer, known as the cast, inside the mold's walls. The mold absorbs water from the slip through its pores, gathering ceramic particles against its surface.
